Lynne Hockney trained at the Royal Ballet School. Her choreographic career has encompassed opera‚ theatre‚ film and television‚ largely in the UK and USA‚ working with directors as diverse as James Cameron‚ Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sir Peter Hall. Her work has been seen at repertory theatres throughout the UK and USA and her extensive list of film credits include The VillageTitanicTrue LiesTown & CountryWild‚ Wild West‚ and Rocky & Bullwinkle.

Most recent and future engagements include her own acclaimed production of La Cenerentola in Erfurt‚ reviving Sir Peter Hall’s Otello for the Castleton Festival and his La Cenerentola for Glyndebourne and Berlin‚ as well as choreographing Fiddler on the Roof and La bohème in Malmö‚ Billy Budd with Opera North and Dead Man Walking for the Royal Danish Theatre (Orpha Phelan)‚ La bohème and Eugene Onegin at Grange Park Opera (both Stephen Medcalf)‚ Don Quichotte (Charlie Edwards) at Grange Park Opera‚ La bohème and A Little Night Music in Malmö‚ Rusalka in Magdeburg‚ Guillaume Tell in Graz and Otello for Korean National Opera.
